The Kansas City defense successfully stifled the Cincinnati offense in the second half, preventing any further scoring opportunities for the Bengals.

Quarterback Jake Browning recorded 197 yards through the air, mainly connecting with Ja’Marr Chase, who managed to secure only 41 yards on three catches.

Earlier this week, Chase had criticized Kansas City’s defensive unit, expressing doubts about any standout players within the Chiefs’ roster.

It seems L’jarius Sneed took these remarks personally.

During the game, an altercation occurred between Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and Chiefs defensive back L’jarius Sneed, escalating to a near-brawl.

After the game, Chase accused Sneed of wanting to engage in a physical confrontation.

“I have no idea what he was trying to achieve… he seemed eager for a fight,” Chase told reporters.

In recent years, Cincinnati and Kansas City have developed one of the most intense rivalries in the NFL. They faced off in the AFC Championship Game in the last two seasons, with Cincinnati winning in 2021 and Kansas City responding with a victory in 2022.

However, the two teams will not meet again this season, as the Bengals have been eliminated from playoff contention.
