**FOX Sports executives may have discovered the perfect successor for Shannon Sharpe on FS1’s “Undisputed.”**
A recent article by **Andrew Marchand from the New York Post** indicates that Richard Sherman, the former NFL All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl 48 champion, is set to fill Sharpe’s role on the program, where he will partner with Skip Bayless:
> “The Post has learned that Richard Sherman is set to join FS1 to engage in debates with Skip Bayless on ‘Undisputed’ following Shannon Sharpe’s exit from the show.
> Sherman is expected to face off against Bayless in approximately 50-100 episodes per year, particularly during the football season.”
Marchand further reported that Sherman will continue his position as an analyst on Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football.” Although the contract has yet to be formally signed, an agreement has been reached between Sherman and FS1 officials.
In 2013, Sherman famously confronted Bayless during a guest appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” proclaiming, “You have no achievements,” and asserting, “I surpass you.”
A decade later, Marchand notes that the two had a cordial conversation last month at The Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel, suggesting that any previous tension has been put to rest.
Renowned as one of the premier defensive players of his era, Sherman received five Pro Bowl selections and three First-team All-Pro honors, finishing his career with 37 interceptions and 116 pass defenses.
