The sting of Sunday’s loss resonated far beyond the final score for the Las Vegas Raiders, who now sit at 2-4 after a 32-13 defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Allegiant Stadium. The issues plaguing the team appear to be deeper than just a rough game.
Davante Adams is frequently mentioned in trade talks, while Maxx Crosby has also attracted attention following a video that emerged of him shoving assistant coach Mike Caldwell on the sidelines, a moment that has quickly gained traction. This incident has ignited speculation regarding problems that extend beyond the scoreline.
Crosby managed to record half a sack during the game, yet it’s his actions that are raising concern, prompting questions about whether he too might be on the trade block.

Crosby quickly took to social media to downplay the incident, praising Caldwell as “one of the best people in the business” and characterizing the act as a “love push.” Nevertheless, rumors still swirl, especially with reports indicating serious leg injuries affecting Lions’ pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson. It’s not difficult to speculate that the Raiders, facing dwindling prospects, may seek to leverage Crosby’s worth while the opportunity exists.
With a record of 2-4, the Raiders seem to be on the brink of a significant restructuring, and both Crosby and Adams are prime candidates for trades. As the deadline approaches, if no improvement is observed, there’s a strong chance the team might pursue draft picks by parting ways with their star players.
For now, Crosby remains with the Raiders, but it’s clear that frustration is mounting—not only for him but for a team staring down the possibility of another disheartening season.
