GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Packers have solidified their coaching lineup, making official the appointments of new position coaches Bobby Babich, Daniel Bullocks, Noah Pauley, and Sam Siefkes.
This announcement came from head coach Matt LaFleur on Thursday.
Babich steps in as the secondary coach and passing game coordinator after a nine-year tenure with Buffalo, including two seasons as their defensive coordinator. Bullocks, newly appointed as the cornerbacks coach, arrived from the San Francisco 49ers, where he contributed from 2017 to 2025.
Pauley will lead the Packers’ receivers after dedicating 13 seasons to collegiate coaching, including the last three years at Iowa State. Siefkes, formerly the linebackers coach with the Arizona Cardinals and most recently Virginia Tech’s defensive coordinator, takes on the role of linebackers coach.
Also notable, Green Bay has brought in Luke Getsy as the quarterbacks coach. Getsy previously served as offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders and the Chicago Bears, and he spent last season helping the Packers as a senior assistant. This will not be his first time working in Green Bay, as he held the quarterbacks coach position from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, he adds the title of assistant head coach of offense to his responsibilities.
In other moves, the Packers have hired Scott Fuchs as a defensive analyst, T.C. McCartney for offensive quality control, and Will Smart for defensive quality control.
Green Bay has also promoted several staff members: DeMarcus Covington has moved up to outside linebackers coach and assistant head coach of defense, Vince Oghobaase has been named the defensive line coach, Rob Grosso is now the assistant wide receivers coach, while Cory Harkey and Jeff Koonz take on roles as assistant special teams coaches.
Oghobaase served as Green Bay’s assistant defensive line coach for the last two seasons. Grosso had been handling quality control for the offense since 2023. Harkey previously worked as special teams quality control coach, while Koonz was a defensive assistant last year.
