Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is embroiled in a serious legal controversy following allegations made by his cousin, Jada Bell. She claims that he had “nonconsensual, incestual relations” with her beginning when she was merely six or seven years old, continuing until she reached 18. In Bell’s defense, attorney Thomas W. Shaffer has vehemently claimed his innocence. He argued that the default judgment against Bell was “based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served.” Shaffer conveyed that they are actively pursuing a reversal of this judgment, asserting that the fundamental aspects of the case have not been fully addressed in court.

Le’Veon Bell had a noteworthy NFL career, accumulating over 6,000 rushing yards, 399 receptions, and multiple Pro Bowl acknowledgments, amassing more than $45 million in earnings.
