Bills’ Dorian Williams Sidelined with Neck Injury After Opening Kick Mishap in Divisional Clash

    Buffalo Bills

DENVER (AP) — Buffalo Bills linebacker Dorian Williams faced a serious setback Saturday as he was ruled out due to a neck injury sustained during a tackle on the opening kickoff in an AFC divisional game.

Williams remained on the field after the play, prompting medical staff to bring a back brace for safety. He eventually got up and was escorted to the medical tent before being transported away in a cart. Following the incident, he was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

The first quarter proved brutal for injuries. Broncos receiver Pat Bryant was also ruled out after suffering a concussion. Star cornerback Pat Surtain II briefly exited the game while attempting to tackle Bills running back James Cook III but returned just a few plays later.
