Joe Burrow’s Comeback: Activated from IR to Face the Ravens!

    Cincinnati Bengals Talk

With the latest update from Cincinnati, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is back in action, successfully activated off injured reserve this Wednesday.

Burrow underwent surgery for a turf toe injury on September 19 and has missed nine critical games. His early return, nearly a month ahead of expectations, is a significant boost for the Bengals.

The team, currently sitting at a disappointing 3-8, has struggled without Burrow, losing eight of nine contests in his absence. Last week, he resumed practice, participating actively in both scout team drills and first-team offense sessions during 11-on-11 practices.

In addition to Burrow’s return, the Bengals announced the activation of safety Daijahn Anthony from injured reserve. Anthony had been sidelined for the first 11 games due to a hamstring injury. However, cornerback Marco Wilson has now been placed on injured reserve after suffering his own hamstring injury during Sunday’s close 26-20 defeat to New England.
